According to the Entrepreneurs Register Report for the City of Laktaši, 139 new sole proprietorships were registered in 2024, while 101 entrepreneurs ceased operations during the same period. As a result, the total number of entrepreneurs operating within the city increased by 54, representing a growth of 5.67%, from 953 in 2023 to 1,007 in 2024.
Entrepreneurs from Laktaši account for 3.78% of the total number of entrepreneurs in the Republika Srpska. The number of entrepreneurs per 1,000 inhabitants reached 28.89 in 2024 (compared to 27.42 in 2023), exceeding the Republika Srpska average of 23.99 in 2024 (22.57 in 2023).
The analysis of 2024 data on total revenues, profits, exports, and employment indicates that the ten leading companies (ranked according to these criteria) generated 38.68% of total revenues (40.84% in 2023), accounted for 46.00% of total net profit (42.43% in 2023), and contributed 71.86% of the total export value reported in annual financial statements (70.91% in 2023).
These companies employed 39.75% of all employees working in business companies (40.94% in 2023), representing 25.43% of total employment in the City of Laktaši (26.43% in 2023).
