Invitation to the seminar “Environmental Protection through the Application of Integrated Standards”

The seminar will be held on November 18th and 19th, 2024 (Monday and Tuesday) from 09:00 AM to 03:00 PM in the Conference Hall of the Chamber of Commerce in Banja Luka.

The goal of the seminar is to equip businesses to ensure sustainable development and environmental protection through the application of integrated standards, i.e., to train candidates so that, after successfully completing the training, they will be able to: describe the role of internal audits in maintaining and improving the integrated quality management system, understand the process of conducting internal audits, and correctly interpret the requirements of the standards (ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015), create an internal audit plan, prepare and carry out internal audits, and create necessary records based on the findings from the audit, all aimed at sustainable development and environmental protection.

The training is primarily intended for quality management and specialists from manufacturing and service companies who wish to gain knowledge about the environmental management system through the application of integrated quality standards, particularly for those involved in planning and conducting internal audits of the Integrated Management System.

Lecturers:

Dr. Zorana Tanišić, full professor at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Banja Luka, and Head of the Department of Industrial Engineering and Management. Since 1995, she has been actively involved in providing expert consulting support in the implementation of management systems. She has participated in the realization of more than 25 projects related to quality and environmental management in manufacturing and service companies. She is the author of numerous scientific and professional papers in the field of industrial engineering.

Dr. Goran Janjić, full professor at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Banja Luka, at the Department of Industrial Engineering and Management. Since 1999, he has been active in consulting and training in the fields of quality and environmental management. He has participated in the realization of 30 projects in this area for manufacturing and service companies. He is the author of numerous papers on management systems. He is a consultant for the EBRD program and the Republic of Srpska’s Agency for Small and Medium Enterprises. He is a member of the Council for Standardization of Bosnia and Herzegovina and an expert in higher education reform.
